This Role- The Support Service’s team is looking for an Administrative Assistant’s to provide administrative support to internal customers. This is a highly visible position within the company, critical to the advancement and growth of Lavelle within our market segments. This role supports all Lavelle departments with general admin duties and reports to our Office Manager.

  • Administrative duties to support various departments, including, but not limited to: creating and updating Excel spreadsheets, filing, scanning documents, additional tasks as requested
  • Act as backup for the Office Manager – scheduling meetings, travel coordination and additional tasks as assigned
  • Back-up Receptionist – use of a multi-line phone system, facsimile sorting and delivery, Invoicing, office supply management
  • Back-up Admin support for the Whitewater Facility to include attendance tracking and payroll knowledge
  • At all times, use appropriate and effective communication styles, both written and oral.
  • Support HR department – filing, scanning of documents, posting notices including Federal Law Compliance signs, maintain Excel worksheets and metrics (Safety Training, Disciplines, Authorized Driver, Locker, Temporary Employee, & Uniform Assignment, etc.)
  • Manage LVTV (electronic bulletin board) and on-site communication bulletins for content and visual appeal
  • Organize company-wide events including, but not limited to: Wellness events, Holiday parties, Employee related celebrations, Bridal and Baby showers etc.
  • Beautification Projects
  • Coordinate meetings and lunches for various occasions
  • Coordinate Sunshine Club efforts

The successful candidate will have a blend of experience for this position:

  • 1-3 years administrative experience
  • Possesses an upbeat, can-do personality
  • Demonstrated drive for continuous improvement
  • Great attention to detail skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Ability to commute to Whitewater, WI facility as needed
