Only Lavelle plumbing products are made from Chlorazone® rubber, a proprietary material specifically designed for concentrated chlorine environments. Chlorazone is an elastomeric polymer that is NSF/ANSI 61 certified, the toughest standard governing products coming into contact with potable water. It also meets the BS 6920 standard. Chlorazone was designed to prevent premature product degradation by resisting harmful environmental elements, including: Chloramines, Household cleaning chemicals, Acids and bases, Sunlight, Ultraviolet radiation and Ozone.
