Notice of Data Event

Lavelle Industries Inc. (“Lavelle”) is providing notice of a cyber incident that may impact the privacy of some information of certain individuals. On March 17, 2024, Lavelle was alerted to suspicious activity in its systems. In response, Lavelle quickly took steps to secure its systems and launched an investigation to determine the nature and scope of the incident. This investigation determined that between March 10, 2024 and March 17, 2024 an unknown actor gained access to certain systems, and certain information stored within those systems may have been accessed or taken. Although Lavelle has no evidence of any misuse of the information potentially impacted, Lavelle notified those individuals whose information was present in the impacted systems at the time of the incident where address information was available.

The data potentially impacted by this event varies by individual but could include an individual’s name, Social Security number, driver's license number, and financial account information.

Lavelle notified relevant state authorities, as required.  Individuals who have questions about this incident can contact the dedicated call center at 1-833-918-6595 between Monday - Friday from 8 am to 8 pm CT

Lavelle encourages potentially impacted individuals to remain vigilant against incidents of identity theft and fraud, to review account statements, and to monitor their credit reports and explanation of benefits forms for suspicious activity. Lavelle is providing potentially impacted individuals with contact information for the three major credit reporting agencies, as well as providing advice on how to obtain free credit reports and how to place fraud alerts and security freezes on their credit files.  The relevant contact information is below:

Potentially impacted individuals may also find information regarding identity theft, fraud alerts, security freezes and the steps they may take to protect their information by contacting the credit bureaus, the Federal Trade Commission or their state Attorney General.
